Denise started her career in the printing business in the mid 80's, working from the ground up at Color Ad Printers in Monterey, where her first boss and mentor noted that she had "ink in her blood." Quickly mastering the ins and outs of the business, she ran the daily production operations for two facilities until she entered the sales side of the business in 1998. Her extensive knowledge of production and job planning helped her provide superior customer service and creative solutions to her clients.

Similarly, Kevin started as a pressman at a small print shop in Watsonville in the 80's and later moved on to Watsonville Press as an outside salesperson. His deep knowledge of the industry earned him many loyal clients and prestigious contracts with Silicon Valley companies.

After changes in company ownership, Kevin and Denise began working together at Printworx in Castroville, where Kevin was general manager and Denise was director of sales. In 2018 another change in ownership led to the closing of Printworx and opportunity presented itself. Denise and Kevin took their 50+ years of combined business, management, sales and operations experience and their amazing clients and reopened the company as Printworks.Solutions, providing not just traditional print services but anything clients need to market their business.

From collateral and direct mail to apparel and point of sale items, our motto is "Yeah, we can do that!" We are proud to be a woman-owned business and that Denise was featured in the Carmel Pine Cone's 2022 Women in Business. We are also certified a California Green Business.

In October 2024, we lost our beloved co-founder Kevin. While his presence is deeply missed, his expertise, values, and dedication live on in every project we complete. Denise continues to lead Printworks.Solutions with the same commitment to quality and personal service that they built together.
